MAIYA GREENWOOD
TCSI COORDINATOR
Maiya’s career has focused on advancing watershed restoration, conservation, and social equity in the Sierra Nevada through on-the-ground restoration projects, science, partnerships, and Tribal engagement. In this role, she collaborates with partners to promote local economic opportunities, coordinate across jurisdictions, develop innovative approaches to advance restoration goals, and scale successes. Before joining the Conservancy, Maiya worked for a nonprofit focused on restoring and protecting the nation’s rivers and communities. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

RAE DUNSTAN
TCSI PROJECT MANAGEMENT & GIS SPECIALIST
Rae Dunstan is a GBI Research Associate specializing in forestry and GIS. Currently working with the California Tahoe Conservancy on the Tahoe Central Sierra Initiative, her role with GIS, project management, and cross-sector collaboration supports large-scale restoration and sustainable land management. With a degree in Conservation Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Rae has experience in small mammal research, primate conservation in Madagascar, and endangered amphibian conservation with the U.S. Forest Service. Rae also contributed to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s climate change assessments for wild rivers in Alaska.
